secret plan (il tempo imperfetto)

...non c'è mai il tempo perfetto per un progetto musicale che verrà, quel tempo è ora. Non c'è mai il tempo perfetto per il profumo che creerò (ma posso imparare ora a mescolare essenze in modo imperfetto, goccia dopo goccia, posso imparare ora ad acquisire un vocabolario olfattivo a descrivere odori, aromi e fragranze, per tracciarne le differenze)... Non esiste il tempo perfetto per il libro, o la raccolta di poesie che scriverò, ma esistono già tanti frammenti incompiuti scritti qui e là su qualunque tipo di carta tovagliolo biglietto e scontrino e spesso dimenticati. E' sempre il tempo imperfetto di un saggio che esplode, di un articolo che prende una piega non prevista, di un aumento di complessità, di tante cose che non posso più ricordare, di illimitati appunti, di tanti inizi di capitoli non collegati l'uno all'altro, di tanti incipit di altrettanti temi... Non c'è e non ci sarà il tempo perfetto per comporre e registrare un disco rinchiudendosi in un ritiro, per avviare un progetto musicale definitivo, ma è piuttosto sempre tempo per improvvisare, per fissare performance estemporanee, per cantare, per sovraimprimere tracce incompiute, su supporti deperibili, su nastri magnetici; per inventare nomi di gruppi, per immaginare infinite interviste con giornalisti musicali, per elencare le cover che faresti, per inviare a qualcuno le proprie tracce dimenticate, per accumulare archivi di cd o di file inascoltati, per pensare alle collaborazioni più fantasiose... Non esiste il tempo perfetto per il film che dirigerò o reciterò, per il pezzo di teatro innovativo, per la performance di body art, o per l'installazione che inventerò, ma piuttosto tante prove sparse, fatte di nascosto, in locali affollati, in mezzo alla gente, quando difficilmente qualcuno scopre il tuo gioco, ma alcuni ridono scambiandosi gomitate, o ti guardano di sottecchi o si sentono a disagio. E' sempre il tempo imperfetto per sceneggiature incompiute, scenografie abbozzate al computer e training attoriali iniziati, ma mai portati fino in fondo...
